Super Carenar MC 35-100mm-f3.5-4.3

Here we have some photos taken with the Super Carenar MC 35-100mm f3.5-4.3. I mounted this Pentax PK bayonet fitting lens on my Panasonic G5 Micro Four Thirds camera using a K&F Concept adapter, which I have found to be the best make available at a decent price.

This is another zoom lens that I haven’t used a lot because over time I have found that I prefer to use prime lenses on my cameras so it is up for sale on Etsy (as of 26th August 2019).

As you can see, this lens isn’t mega sharp, but it does render some nice images if you’re prepared to work with it. It’s an unwieldy lens! It has a macro ‘Close Focus’ function that works well but the focus and zoom action feel strange to use and it takes some time to get used to it. With the large front element it looks quite impressive, and I reckon that if you could get the hang of the way it zoom and focuses, you might enjoy taking pictures with this lens even if the photographs aren’t tack sharp.
